Requirements

In order to extract data from an SLF file, you must have JA2 or JA2UB installed on your computer with access to the appropriate SLF file you wish to extract.

Instructions

1. Select "New" from the File Menu and then "SLF Extractor" from the New File Window.
2. The following lists the appropriate button and its function:
  • Open SLF: Will open an SLF file and display a list of its contents.
  • Extract Files: Will extract the "Selected" files to the destination.
  • WildCard: Allows you to extract files based on DOS Style Wildcards.
  • Destination: Allows you to specify an alternate destination for file extraction.
  • Browse: This function simply allows you to view files.
3. Under the "If File(s) Exist?" option you may elect to have files always overwritten or never overwritten.
. Known Issues:

The SLF Extractor calls requests to the "DOS Command Prompt".  By doing so, a DOS Window will appear on the Task Bar during the "Extraction" process.  On Windows9x this window may not always close automatically. You may close it manually, however, at times it could lock up the program.
