Description
This program
will allow you to extract data files from the standard SLF files supplied
by the game through a GUI Interface.

created by this author are designed for immediate use and have limited (or
no) documentation and/or error checking routines. Updates are only
released when they fulfill a need for the author.
Requirements
In order to
extract data from an SLF file, you must have JA2 or JA2UB installed on
your computer with access to the appropriate SLF file you wish to extract.
Instructions

Select
"New" from the File Menu and then "SLF
Extractor" from the New File Window. |

The
following lists the appropriate button and its function:
- Open
SLF: Will open an SLF file and display a list of its
contents.
- Extract
Files: Will extract the "Selected" files to the
destination.
- WildCard:
Allows you to extract files based on DOS Style Wildcards.
- Destination:
Allows you to specify an alternate destination for file
extraction.
- Browse:
This function simply allows you to view files.

the "If File(s) Exist?" option you may elect to have files
always overwritten or never overwritten. |

Known
Issues:
The SLF
Extractor calls requests to the "DOS Command
Prompt". By doing so, a DOS Window will appear on the
Task Bar during the "Extraction" process. On
Windows9x this window may not always close automatically. You may
close it manually, however, at times it could lock up the program.
